Parents Association

A committee is elected every year. The A.G.M. is held generally before the end of November. This committee is very active in fund raising activities, helping out with the running of the Christmas events, organising talks for the general body of parents and assists with the practicalities of the celebration of First Communion among other activities. The P.T.A. is affiliated with the National Parents Council.

Race Night

The Parents Association of Garranbane N.S. have arranged a Race Night to be held at Bridgie Terries Bar, The Pike, Dungarvan on Saturday 19th March 2016 at 8.30 pm.

The purpose of the Race Night is to raise money for the Garranbane School Building Fund as we understand the Building Works are due to finally commence in the near future.

We would be most grateful if you could support this great cause by donating sponsorship to the race night or by purchasing horses for the night. 

We would kindly appreciate any sponsorship. (As a guide of sponsorship - €100 to sponsor a race or a whole page advert in race booklet, €50 half page advert, €25 a quarter page.)

The cost of purchase of each horse is €10. Please contact school to receive a sponsorship card.

All horses bought will run in the various Races on the Night and if your horse is successful on the Night you may win a Cash Prize!! 

Please return any sold cards or sponsorship to the School by 3rd March 2015 as we will then need to print up the Race cards with names of all horses, owners, jockeys etc.

We would also like to invite you to attend the Race Night.  There will be a raffle, a separate Auction Race and a competition for Best Dressed Lady and Best Dressed Couple on the Night!!! A great night’s entertainment is assured.
